This professional Naal is a wooden two sided drum. The heads are placed and tuned by bolts.. The artist holds the Naal horizontally and it is played with both heads.

The khol is a drum with a clay body, with drumheads at both ends, one far smaller than the other. The drumheads are made of cow skin, and are three-layered and treated with a circle of rice paste, glue, and iron known as sihai.

Professional Dotara is a stringed musical instrument commonly used in Bangladesh and West Bengal. This dotara has five strings. Dotara is a stringed, pluck instrument, played in an open note combination.

The mridangam is a double sided drum. One side is very small and generates high pitched sounds and the other, wider, for low pitched sounds. Medium size.
