Made in punjab. This is a Concert Model. A large bowl-shaped string instrument, played with bow, The Saranda produces a beautiful deep tone quality which sings in alternation and in support of the human voice. Complimentary Gig Bag.

Made in punjab, this instrument is made in the shape of a peacock and the word ‘taus’ comes from a Persian word meaning peacock. This instrument is very similar to the dilruba in construction and in playing technique.

The delicate hand worked inlay and elegant carving is the finest we have seen.

Concert model. The dilruba is popular in north-west India. It is found in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

This model includes an Air Flight case. The israj is a string bowed  instrument found throughout the north, central, and east regions of India. The Israj  is used in religious music and light classical songs in the urban areas.
